Sudeep Sen’s works have been translated into over 25 languages, and his latest volume of poems, Anthropocene: Climate Change, Contagion, Consolation (please click on these links to see the details) was the Joint-Winner from a US foundation of the Rabindranath Tagore Literary Prize 2021-2022 of US$10,000 ).
For a Lifetime of Achievement in Literature, Sudeep won the Sanatan Puraskar Award 2024 from the Sanatan Sangeet Sanskriti (established in 1990):
Influential anthologies have been edited by him, including: The HarperCollins Book of English Poetry, World English Poetry (Bengal Foundation, Dhaka, Bangladesh) and Modern English Poetry by Younger Indians (Sahitya Akademi), and his words have appeared in The Times Literary Supplement, Newsweek, Guardian, Observer, Independent, Telegraph, Financial Times, Herald, Poetry Review, Literary Review, Harvard Review, Hindu, Hindustan Times, Times of India, Indian Express, Outlook, India Today, and have been broadcast on the bbc, pbs, cnn ibn, ndtv, air & Doordarshan.
He is the editorial director of Aark Arts, the editor of Atlas, and currently the inaugural artist-in-residence at the Museo Camera.

Sudeep is the only Asian who has been honoured by being invited to deliver the Derek Walcott Lecture and to read at the Nobel Laureate Festival 2013. In 2013, the Government of India awarded him the senior fellowship for “outstanding persons in the field of culture/literature.”
