Dr Shrobona Bhattacharya

Dr Shrobona Bhattacharya is an academic, educator, community leader and social entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience working in eminent universities, including the University of Cambridge. She holds a PhD in Toxicology and is the Founder and Chair of CamCare UK, a registered charity supporting STEM education, arts, wellbeing, equality and community engagement. She is also the founder of UK Bengali Convention (UKBC), Mudra Academy, and Edinburgh University Vedic Society (EUVS), WellbeingOn. She has served as a South Cambridgeshire District Councillor for 8 years, continuing her role as a Cambourne Town Councillor for over 10 years. Her extensive voluntary and community work has touched thousands of children, families and communities, and has received recognition from the Prime Minister's Office, the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire, Cambridge Independent, Luminus Group, Cambridge University, and the BBC.
