10 programmes for Indian TV in 1970, titled “The Art of India”, presented by Nissim Ezekiel

Little seems to be known of the series of 10 programmes for Indian TV (presumably Doordarshan?) in 1970, titled “The Art of India“, presented by Nissim Ezekiel, which explored the history, aesthetics and significance of architecture, folk art, painting, sculpture, and textiles. Apparently, the series  was well received by critics and the public, and it showcased Ezekiel’s erudition, eloquence and enthusiasm for the artistic heritage of his country”.  However, on the internet, we can locate no evidence for such a summation since nothing at all can be discovered about it via internet Search engines.

Moreover, given the constraints of the medium, it is highly unlikely that Ezekiel could have ad libbed his way in presenting those programmes. He must have produced a script for it. Where is that script, now?

And might there not be, perhaps, a video-recording of the series somewhere?

Finally, there must be some records relating to Ezekiel’s involvement in this programme, and maybe even other programmes, in the Doordarshan archives. If those still exist.  If so, where are they? And how might those be located and accessed?
